The vision of Central College of Science and Technology is to be the institution of choice in the provision of education in Health Sciences and Technology
To provide relevant industry employability opportunities for people through the provision of education at the highest international levels of excellence that would enable them to explore their capabilities, interests and also develop their full intellectual and human potential.
Society is changing rapidly in ways which have had a profound impact on the role of universities and colleges. This nation has, over the years, seen a decline in graduate unemployment in both public and private enterprises.
This trend, coupled with the changes that innovation brings, will have a major effect on the way people work and the kinds of jobs they choose to do.
In a world where change is the norm, however, one thing is certain – knowledge will be a key resource and will be highly sought after within Ghana in particular and around the world at large.
The challenge then is to help generate the intellectual property which will create new jobs and to educate and train people to work in fields where they will be valued both for their specialised knowledge and for their ability to research, communicate and solve problems.
It is in keeping with this philosophy that the Central College of Science and Technology was established.
Whether through research development or the provision of a workforce with skilled employees and astute entrepreneurs, we plan to play a distinctive role in furthering the nation’s social, cultural, business and economic development.
We embrace this obligation and are fully committed to ensuring our activities benefit the communities with which we serve and engage. We believe in excellence and, above all, we are looking to produce tomorrow’s leaders; mature, well-rounded individuals who will lead, actively participate and contribute to societal development.
For these reasons, we are confident that graduates from Central College of Science and Technology will be highly sought after both locally and internationally.
